Welcome to my world

Hello world! I am Alex Blankenstein. I am a devoted husband, father of 3 awesome boys, therapist, strong mind coach, ultra-endurance athlete, self proclaimed yogi, back country adventurer, Halloween enthusiast, aspiring carpenter, mediocre comedian, backyard "chickeneer", and oatmeal connoisseur. You might say that I love pushing my limits and being creative in many areas of my life. I love to see what I am capable of. My personal journey has led me from a place of shame and self-doubt into a life of values oriented confidence and growth. Using a proven process of values clarification, self regulation, and a re-writing of those limiting beliefs, am adept at helping people get unstuck from old stories that no longer serve them and to stop doing the things that don't move them forward toward being the best version of themselves. From teens to adults, I specialize in the realms of growth mindset, healing from trauma, understanding out of control sexual behavior, and self-led sexual health. I have come to see myself as a merchant of hope for those who doubt themselves but who want to leave their small stories, dance with fear, and grow into something bigger and more beautiful. My mission is for everyone to find acceptance and belonging for all parts of themselves, to feel whole, to be empowered, and to live free.

Grown, Not Given

I hope to share weekly messages of hope and tangible tools for those looking to unhook from limiting stories that keep people locked in past cycles of behavior. I will also share upcoming resources that I am involved with that you can integrate into your own healing and growth journey. I believe that our growth, emotionally, physically, and mentally, is rooted in the skills we are able to acquire and put to the use of serving those around us. These skills are GROWN, NOT GIVEN!
